My passion for photography began when I was a little boy, the youngest of nine siblings. Some of my earliest memories are of perusing through our family albums, fascinated by the captured moments in time. Growing up in a creative household, my dad was a musician and my mom painted Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck on our bedroom walls. Surrounded by love and creativity, I spent most of my time playing outside, exploring the backyard, and marveling at bugs and rocks.
In 2006, during college, my roommate had an impressive camera setup—a Nikon D100. One weekend, he let me use it while he was away for the holidays. That experience was transformative; I fell in love with photography. So much so that I changed my major to Photography and Graphic Design.
